Virtual Sales Experience

We at Barlo Motor Group across our four dealerships: Barlo Nissan Kilkenny, Barlo Hyundai Clonmel, Barlo Motors Clonmel and Barlo Motors Thurles have adopted a new Virtual Sales Experience for our customers.


During this time of uncertainty our main priority is to ensure that our staff and customers are safe but also that we can still provide a high level of service for our valued customers. As a family run business since 1944 our staff are respected and treated like family and we wanted to ensure that their jobs were secure and to operate differently which we call the “New Norm”.

In doing so we have made the sales and viewing process as virtual as possible without the pressure of a customer having to enter a showroom.


Our new Virtual Sales Experience includes all of the below elements in assisting to browse at ease or purchase a vehicle.

  • Online applications for finance
  • Virtual test drive videos
  • Videos of the customers preferred cars interior, exterior and all of the extra details. These videos can then be sent via the customers preference of transfer such as E-mail or Whatsapp
  • Virtual Sales Appointments/ Advice via Zoom/ Skype meetings or our live chat options which are available in our two Ford dealerships in both Clonmel and Thurles
  • Barlo Motor Group are offering home delivery of any vehicles purchased in the near future
  • Encouraging contactless payment, which is the way forward during these times!


As mentioned above we are hoping to offer home delivery of any vehicles purchased in the near future, once we get government clearance to do so we will update our customers on dates that this service will be available. Any vehicles that leave our dealerships are fully sanitized protecting our customer and staff’s wellbeing.

 

When our dealerships showroom doors re-open we have new procedures implemented to ensure that government guidelines are adhered to regarding social distancing. We have invested in social distancing signage, PPE for staff and customers, we have introduced daily temperature checks for our staff. Hand sanitizer is readily available for both staff and customers amongst our four dealerships and where possible we are using just our automatic door entrances to ensure as little physical contact as possible for our customers.

 

Three of Barlo Motor Groups dealerships parts and repairs departments have been open throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic to support our frontline Workers as they assist with the maintenance of An Garda Siochana and healthcare workers.
